My name is Kara Arnold and am a Show rider with a hopeful profession to produce show ponies/horses.

I’ve grown up with horses since the moment I was born and have fallen in love with horses ever since. I’ve had a string of novice ponies along the way which have taught me everything I know.

I’m lucky enough to have had some amazing ponies that have taken me to some of the biggest shows in the country, Including Horse of the year show 6 times and Royal International 8 times where I have had some of the best results.

I have learnt from a young age that it’s not all about the winning, horses are a passion which you have to love and work hard, the results are a bonus. I am based near Louth, Lincolnshire in the heart of the Wolds with our family and friend team.

I have recently taken to eventing where in my first season I had three double clears, 2 clears at Be90 and 1 at Be100. Unfortunately last seasons eventing was cut short but hopefully in the next few years I’m going to take a real shot at it and hopefully get to Novice level by the end of next year. I hope to be showing a team of ponies this next season ranging from lead rein all the way up to a 153cm Hunter pony.

I can’t wait to see where our journey takes us and by having Laura’s support with keeping them up to scratch and in full working order I believe we can give the ponies the best chance to perform.
